Leading the Way in Supporting Our Communities

“Doing the Right Thing” is an integral part of our culture that protects our clients, but also extends outside of our offices and business hours. As a company and individual employees, we focus on providing our time, talents, and financial resources to support local charities and community organizations in towns and cities near our offices.

CBE’s Social and Philanthropic Initiatives

A few examples of our community support programs include:

Casual for a Cause

Employees donate money in order to dress casually day in and day out. Donated money goes to a local charity or non-profit organization. In a typical month, our amazing employees donate over $6,000 to designated groups.

United Way Annual Fundraiser

The month of October is dedicated to raising funds for the United Way. Historically, our employees raise an average annual donation of nearly $80,000.

Partners in Education and School Support

We sponsor great educational opportunities in local elementary schools. This includes bringing Franklin Covey’s Leader in Me program to schools. Our employees also participate in buddy programs, fundraisers, back-to-school supply collections, and mentoring students through the Junior Achievement program.

Other Philanthropic Efforts

Our employees also regularly adopt families over the holidays and stay involved in local business communities. They also support food banks, Habitat for Humanity, Boys and Girls Club, House of Hope Women’s Shelter, and Salvation Army.

Casual for a Cause Applications

NOW OPEN!

Giving Tuesday is a special day that encourages people around the world to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. Whether it’s giving to those in need, helping out others, or just making someone smile, every act of generosity counts. It also kicks off the season of giving—and CBE’s employees are some of the most generous you’ll find. While our employees come together in December to donate food and toys to those in need, their generosity reaches far beyond the holiday season. CBE’s caring employees genuinely want to help others, so every year our Iowa, Texas, and Tennessee offices donate money to local charitable organizations through our Casual for a Cause program and our annual United Way campaign fundraiser.

‘Tis the season of giving, and the employees of CBE Companies are eager to do our part—but we need YOUR organization’s application! CBE’s Casual for a Cause program is a philanthropic initiative where employees donate money to local charities or non-profit organizations in order to dress casually every day. CBE’s ideal candidates seek to benefit human need, align with our Core Values, and demonstrate fiscal responsibility. In 2022 alone, our Iowa, Texas, and Tennessee sites will have raised over $75,000 for local organizations through Casual for a Cause!

We are now accepting applications for our charitable and non-profit organizations. If your organization is interested in joining CBE’s list of local charitable and non-profit recipients, please click the link below for more information!
